Josie Helton Coleman

Funeral services for Josie Helton Coleman, 89, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2015, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday and after 9 AM on Friday at the funeral home. Josie passed away on February 22, 2015.
Josie was born in Magoffin County, KY, and was a member of Meigs Avenue Church of Christ.
Josie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Freddie Coleman; parents, German and Maudy Helton; son, Ronald Joe Coleman; and four siblings, Martha Selent, Virgil Helton, Ed Helton and Gertrude Cortner.
She is survived by her two sons, Jerry Coleman (Ruthie) and Rick Coleman (Ann); two grandchildren, Brent Coleman and Lauren Coleman; step-granddaughter, Rhonda Trombley; and step-great-granddaughter, Taylor Trombley; five siblings, Alta McBride, Mary Howard, Ruth Estep, Donna Wells-Freeman, and Fred Helton.
