Kevin James Parry

Kevin James Parry, 53, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away Tuesday, November 4th after a 15 year battle with cancer. He was born in Texas on July 27th 1961 to Jim and Linda Parry. Kevin enjoyed being outdoors throughout his life and scouting as a young man. He was also a wonderful cook over any campfire. He loved riding his bikes, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, camping, and hiking. Kevin took pride in working with wood and with making things beautiful. He was an amazing trim carpenter. In his spare time he loved spoiling his dog Atlas, who is almost human himself. He loved to spend time with his daughter and he was so proud of all her accomplishments, and he loves her husband and he was so proud that he was able to walk her down the aisle.
Kevin is survived by his parents James and Linda Parry who took such great care of him over the last 15 years with his sickness. He is also survived by his beloved daughter Lauren Linck and son-in-law Chris Linck, his sisters Julie Brooks and her husband Scott and Lisa Cymbalist and her husband Andy, nieces Kennedy and Hannah Brooks and Miriam Cymbalist and nephews Daylen Cymbalist and Seth Brooks, his loving friend Sherry Parry, and several nieces and nephews
His wonderful spirit, bravery, and talents will be celebrated at Scott's Funeral Home on Friday, November 7th from 4-8 and again on Saturday, November 8th from 9-11, with the burial following at 11 am at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
