Lois Ash Obituary
Lois Moore Ash, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the home she shared with her daughter. She was surrounded by those who love her. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 2, 1931 to the late James Howard and Lillian Moore.
Lois leaves behind her loving daughter Karen; her brother, John (Cathy) Moore; a cousin, Pat Schmidt; a grandson, Chris (Danielle) Self; a sister-in-law, Judy Ash Murphy; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clifford Ash; and a daughter, Debbie (Ash) Self.
Lois was a member of Park Memorial Church and a former member of Tri Kappa. Her happiest memories were when she was a secretary at Northaven Elementary School in the 70's.
Funeral services for Lois will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Scott Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 PM and from 10-11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may go to Gentiva Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
