It is with great love, sadness, and compassion that the family of Mollie Lou (Budd) Light would like to inform you that she passed away on December 10, 2014. A unique and independent woman, she left us at 86 years old after a full and long life.
Mollie was born in New Albany, Indiana on December 23, 1927, and has been a longtime resident of Jeffersonville, Indiana. No services will be held, but if you would like to send a donation, please give to the Humane Society in her name.
She was an American Casting Association national champion, Shanghai Rummy card shark, slot machine wizard, pie-maker extraordinaire, avid fisherman & golfer, fly fishing teacher, past president of the National Association of Women in Construction, and former manager at Ohio Valley Door.
Her husband, Roy D. Light, passed away on July 6 of this year. She is survived by her loving children Chris Cook, Terry Schneider, Devin Light and Terry Light, her grandchildren Brooke, Stephanie, Chelsea, Joseph, Amy, Robbie, and Todd, as well as her great-grandchildren Bridgette, Clea, Tess, and Oliver.
