Neva Poyner Obituary
Neva Poyner, 88, died Friday, March 27th, 2015 at Clark Memorial hospital in Jeffersonville. Neva was a resident of Jeffersonville and a former resident of Morgantown.
Neva was born October 14, 1926, in Helmsburg, IN. Her parents were Lloyd & Zoe Brummet. Neva married Marion Poyner on June 27th, 1947 in Brown County. Other survivors include two sons, Brent Poyner of Borden, IN (wife Mary Poyner), and David Poyner of Wickenburg, AZ. (wife Kim Poyner). Three grandsons Scott Poyner of Salem, IN, (wife Connie Poyner), Corey Poyner of Jeffersonville, IN, (wife Kristian Poyner), and Nathan Poyner of Wickenburg, AZ, and 4 great grandchildren Scott Poyner Jr., Tristian Poyner, Kaison Poyner, and Abigail Poyner.
Neva was an only child.
Neva was a loving wife and mother
Neva enjoyed family the most. Nothing made her happier than to spend time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 31st from 3pm to 8pm at Scott's Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.
Funeral is Wednesday April 1st at Meredith Funeral Home in Morgantown, IN.
She will be buried at the East Hill cemetery in Morgantown, IN
