Norman Hawkins Obituary
A memorial service for Norman Eugene Hawkins, 86, of Sellersburg, IN, will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Norman passed away on February 24, 2015.
Norman retired from Colgate Palmolive in Clarksville, IN, and Churchill Downs Paramutual Union after 30 years of service. He was a member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany, IN. He also was an avid golfer and loved to fish in his free time.
Norman was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Hawkins; parents, Sheldon James Hawkins and Effie Hawkins; son, Brent Robin Hawkins; and brother, William Sheldon Hawkins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Judy (Berry) Hawkins; two children, Verbal Alexander (Charles) and Norman Alan Hawkins; one granddaughter, Natasha Finn (Jeremy); and three great-granddaughters, Ava, Sophia and Grace.
