Phillip Joe Buscher

Phillip Joe Buscher, 85, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on March 20, 2024 at his home. He was born on June 8, 1938 in Kokomo, Indiana, son of Frederick Joseph Buscher and Julia "Judy" Ruby Buscher. Phillip was a retired manager from Silgas company after many years of dedicated service. He was a faithful member of Southeast Christian Church, Indiana Campus.

Phillip embraced life with an adventurous spirit and loved the great outdoors. He was a hiker, camper and marksman, finding joy in natures embrace. Beyond the outdoor activities, Phillip was an avid genealogist, diving into his ancestry with enthusiasm and curiosity.

He also loved to travel the globe in search of new experiences and tapping in to natures landscapes along the way.  Phillip loved family time and enjoyed spending time with them and his friends.

In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by a sister, Melinda Haggadone. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia L. Buscher; Children, Kathy Mosley of Jeffersonville, Phillip Jay (KristyBuscher of Salem, Charmaine (Bill) Kinnett, Cynthia (George) Butler of Mitchell, Christina Buscher of Jeffersonville, Mary Ann(Doug) Jackson of Vilonia, AZ, Connie (Ray) Otter of Versailles; brother, Bob (Ann) Buscher of Plainfield; sister, Ruth Ann Fennel of Arcadia; along with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11-2pm with service to follow at 2pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
