Billy was born and raised in Jeffersonville, IN, and is a 1996 Graduate of Jeffersonville High School. After high school he attended Franklin College in Franklin, IN, and graduated in 2000. Following college, he moved home to work in the family business and serve his hometown as a funeral director. He attended Mid-America College of Funeral Service and graduated in 2001. As well as being a Funeral Director, he also serves as Clark County Coroner.
Billy loves to spend his time outdoors and with his family. He has three children, June, Olive and William.

Vice-President and Licensed Funeral Director
Aaron Scott was born and raised in Jeffersonville, IN
and graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1999. He then went on to
attend Murray State University and in 2003 earned a Bachelor of Science in
Animal Science.
Returning to Jeffersonville, Aaron continued his family's legacy as a funeral director by graduating from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in 2005. He is now the Vice-President of Scott Family Services, which services families in both Southern Indiana and Louisville, KY, and has a reputation for providing excellent service to families at their time of need.
Aaron holds funeral director licenses in both Indiana and Kentucky and served
as a Floyd County Deputy Coroner after completing his Medicolegal Death
Investigator training. He serves his fellow funeral directors as District
8 Director of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association Board, and has worked
closely with the Clark County Coroner’s Office for the last eight years helping
families understand and navigate the death of a loved one.
Aaron loves to travel and spend his
free time with his family. He is married to Alanna Scott and they have two
children, Cora and Andrew, and one faithful companion, Stanley.

General Manager & Funeral Director
Scott Moyes, a first-generation funeral director, discovered
his passion for the funeral profession at the age of 16 in Henderson, Kentucky.
With over two decades of dedicated service, Scott regards his career as more
than a job—it's a calling to support and minister to those experiencing loss.
Since December 2013, Scott has been happily
married to Blair. Together, they cherish their life with their three daughters,
Reed, Avery, and Kimber. The family is deeply involved in their community
through the Ninth and O Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. There, Scott
contributes significantly, including roles as a former Chairman of the Deacons,
Trustee, and Director of Singles. His commitment to faith and family is
paramount, particularly in nurturing his children within a spiritually guided
environment.
Scott joined Scott Family Services as the General
Manager in 2023, embracing the opportunity to lead and innovate in the field he
loves.
A proud alumnus of Murray State University (Go
Racers!), Scott also holds a degree from Mid-America College of Funeral Service
and is a Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity alum. Outside of his professional life,
Scott is a devoted family man, often found supporting his children at ballet
performances and sporting events. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and
immersing himself in the great outdoors with his family.

Funeral Director
Joe started
his career in funeral service as a student while working for Scott Funeral Home
in 1989. After graduating from Mid America College of Funeral Service and
serving his apprenticeship, he obtained his Indiana and Kentucky Funeral Director
and Embalmer licenses. Several years later he achieved designation as a
Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP).
In 1995 Joe stepped
away from funeral service to pursue a career in eye, organ and tissue donation.
He accepted a position with the Kentucky
Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) where he assisted donor families. In 2000 Joe became
the Director of Quality Assurance for the University of Louisville Lions Eye
Bank. He continued in this role until 2004 when he was promoted to Executive
Director. In 2018 Joe returned to
funeral service and now serves primarily as a funeral director at our Veterans
Parkway location.
Joe has been married to his wife, Lorna since 1988. They have lived in Clark county since 1995. Joe enjoys hiking, and most outdoor activities. He has been fortunate to have experienced many adventures.

Debra is a native of Jeffersonville, IN, and has numerous years of pre-planning experience. She enjoys meeting and helping our families plan their burial and cremation wishes.

Director of Operations
Adam was born and raised in Jeffersonville, IN and is a 1999 graduate of Jeffersonville High School. After high school he followed his love for the game of golf spending nearly 15 years as a golf professional at Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, IN. He joined the staff at Scott Funeral Home in May of 2016.
Adam enjoys many outdoor activities, spending time with his wife Mackenzie and watching Indiana basketball and Colts football.
Chief Business Development Officer
Joshua has been building & managing companies for decades and has joined the Scott Family team to oversee the growth of our funeral homes and other businesses inside the Scott Family Services group. Joshua is a Providence High School graduate from the class of '98. He went on to study Business Economics at Purdue University & Indiana University SE, before heading to Southern California and graduating from the Gemological Institute of America.
Outside of the office, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife Danielle, their daughter Madi Rose and traveling to remote streams with a fly rod in his hand.

Heather Dorman, a recent graduate
of Mid-America College and Funeral Service, brings a wealth of compassion and a
fresh perspective to the Scott Family Services team.
A proud mother to a six-year-old son, Heather is dedicated
not only to her family but also to her chosen profession. With 2 1/2
years of experience in the funeral industry, she combines youthful enthusiasm
with a deep commitment to guiding families through the grieving process.
Heather's educational journey took her from Shelby County High School, where
she graduated in 2013, to the halls of Mid-America College, culminating in her
graduation on September 14, 2023. Her dedication to learning and serving shines
through her work.
Beyond her professional life, Heather enjoys the simple pleasures of life,
cherishing moments with her son, immersing herself in music, and indulging in
culinary delights. Her love for animals extends to her pet birds, highlighting
her compassionate nature.
An interesting fact about Heather is her recent foray into piano lessons,
showcasing her passion for continuous growth and new experiences.
Heather's youthful energy, love for people, and dedication to helping families
in their time of need make her a valuable asset to the Scott Family Services team. We are delighted to have her on board, ensuring that every family we

With 14 years of dedicated
service in the funeral industry, Melinda Mohammed, a Palmyra, IN native, offers
compassionate support during families' most challenging times. She began her
journey at North Harrison High School in nearby Ramey, IN.
Melinda's educational path took her to Spencerian College of Nursing, providing
a strong healthcare foundation. Her true calling emerged at Mid-America College
of Funeral Service, where she developed deep funeral industry expertise.
Beyond her daily role, Melinda holds an insurance license for pre-need funeral
sales, helping families plan for the future.
While devoted to her work, Melinda's heart belongs to her family. She's a proud
mother of two and a doting grandmother to two. Family is her world, and her
love for them is unwavering.
In her leisure time, Melinda enjoys nature walks with her golden doodle, Ollie,
and finds solace in the simple pleasures of fishing.

Meet Megan Eickleberry, a
dedicated member of the Scott Family Services team, bringing her passion and
expertise to support families during their challenging times.
Megan's journey began with her graduation from Munster High School in Northern
Indiana. She continued her education at Mid-America College - School Of
Mortuary Science, where she honed her skills and knowledge in the field of
funeral services.
What Megan enjoys most about her work is helping families navigate the journey
of grief and loss, providing them with the support and care they need during
this difficult time.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Megan finds solace in the great
outdoors, particularly through her love for paddleboarding. She shares her life
with two wonderful canine companions, Karl, an Irish wolfhound, and Puppy, a
Bernese Mountain Dog.

Meet Princessa Rios, a cherished
member of the Scott Family Services team whose dedication and passion are at the
heart of what we do.
As a loving mother of two, Princessa understands the importance of family and
brings that sense of care and compassion to her role in the funeral industry.
Beyond her professional life, Princessa is a multifaceted individual with a
wide array of interests. From capturing moments through photography to
restoring old cars, she enjoys the thrill of the outdoors and the creativity of
cooking.
Currently a student at Mid-America College - School Of Mortuary Science,
Princessa's journey in funeral services was inspired by her culture and
traditions from Guam, where she found her calling in this meaningful field.
Princessa has had the privilege of working under the Scott's name for two and a
half years, where she has experienced immense compassion. She's learned
valuable qualities that she aspires to possess as she takes steps toward
becoming a Funeral Director.
What drives Princessa in her work is the opportunity to help families navigate
uncertain times and adapt to a new normal. She finds deep meaning in her career
by providing proper closure and support to those in need.

Meet James Nelson, a valued
member of the Scott Family Services team, dedicated to
providing comfort and support to families during their most challenging
moments.
James hails from Louisville, Kentucky, and was raised in Jeffersonville,
Indiana. His educational journey began at Jeffersonville High School, where he
graduated in 2004. He furthered his passion for creativity by attending the
Prosser School of Technology, where he earned a degree in multi-media graphics.
Driven by his artistic aspirations, James pursued higher education at the
prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design. In 2008, he graduated with a
degree in advertising design, accompanied by a minor in graphic design.
Beyond his professional life, James treasures moments spent with his family and
friends. He is a true artist at heart, finding joy in painting, mixed media
projects, and photography. His fascination with the sky often takes him to new
heights, as he can frequently be found skillfully navigating a drone through
the open skies.
In 2023, James became part of the Scott Family Services
family, driven by a deeply personal experience. Following the passing of his
beloved grandfather, James experienced firsthand the compassionate care
provided by Scott Funeral Home, our flagship location in Jeffersonville,
Indiana. This moving encounter inspired him to join our team, motivated by the
desire to extend the same comfort and support to other families during their
most challenging times.
James Nelson's creative spirit, love for his community, and dedication to
