Barbara J. Wade, 81, of Jeffersonville, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 with her loving family by her side.

A funeral service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, 47130, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. 

Barbara was born on April 30, 1938 to the late James and Beulah Norris. She was a woman of faith and was an active member of Grace Family Worship Church of God in Jeffersonville, IN.

Along with her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, JW Wade.

Surviving are her children, Lance Christian, La Vetta Jackson, and Kent (Darlene) Christian; sister, Wanda Greer; grandchildren, Lori, Leah, Brittany, Chad, Kent, Jr., Todd, and Kyle; 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great, great-grandchildren; and her beloved fur-baby, Tiny.
