Frances Carolyn (Schneider) Hall

Frances Carolyn (Carol) Hall, 78, died Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Clark Memorial Health Hospital.  Her husband of over 50 years, James E. (Ted) Hall, was by her side.  Carol was born on July 22, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Carol spent her life dedicated to her family and her faith.  She was a devout Catholic, a loving daughter and sister, a committed wife, a devoted mother to her six children, and an exceptionally proud grandmother and great grandmother.  Her family will always remember her unwavering devotion as both a partner and parent, and they have a deep appreciation for her wicked sense of humor and genuine humility.  The world is better because she was in it, albeit all too briefly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burladean (Bert) Vititoe and Frank Schneider, and her brother Frank (Mike) Schneider, Jr.

In addition to her husband Ted, Carol is survived by her daughters Kimberly Foxworthy (Mark), Joelyn Jaggers (Phillip) and by her sons Jerome Hall (Joel), Matthew Hall (Chris), Joseph Hall and Michael Hall, her granddaughter Carolyn Schneider (Justin) and her great granddaughters Harper Rose Schneider and Sydney Grace Schneider.

Carol rose above a life of challenges and setbacks yet never let them diminish her positive outlook or passion to put family first.  She led by example and always chose love and support over judgement.  She leaves to her family a legacy of unconditional, sacrificial love.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville, Ind. with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Scott’s Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, Ind.
