Harper Louise Cantrell

Harper Louise Cantrell, 2, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on January 10, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday and after 9 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Harper is the sweetest little girl with the biggest blue eyes. She loves to giggle, dance and sing. She is the cutest little escape artist this world has even seen. Harper loves her sissy, Amelia, more than anything, jumping on the trampoline and eating chalk, but not eggs. Harper makes our hearts full and our souls complete. Every chance Harper could she would cherish the opportunity to say “HI” at the top of her lungs regardless of where you were. She loves talking on the phone because that was her perfect time to scream “Hi and Bye” all in the same sentence. Harper taught her sissy how to dance and gave her the courage to be herself even if she felt goofy. Harper helped her Dada through the death of his mom when he saw no way to get better. Harper will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be our light.

Harper was preceded in death by her grandmother Valentina Thornton, and cousin Ravin McComb.

She is survived by her fathers John and Derek Cantrell, sister, Amelia Denny; brother, Jordan Smallwood; grandparents; Tracy and John Morse and Derek Cantrell Sr., nana, Shelia Jesse and papaw, Rev. McKinley Jesse; great grandmothers Cathy Fox and Arlene Cantrell;god parents, Andy and Laura Keeney; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins in the Keeney, Hicks, Vaughn and Lott-Delbridge families.
