Agnes “Eileen” Taggart

Agnes “Eileen” Taggart, 80, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on July 19, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday and after 9 AM on Thursday at the funeral home
Eileen was born on March 9, 1940 in Oxford, England. In England, she was a mid-wife and delivered 520 babies during her career. For a large part of her life, she was known for making miniature dolls for collectors. At Christ Gospel Church, Eileen was active in Trailblazers and working with children. Later in life, she became a “Famous English Photographer.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Maude Thurston; two sisters, Mary Thurston and Evelyn Thurston.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, George Taggart; children, Kathryn Leamer (David), and Michael Taggart (Harold Phipps); sister, Pearl Dulake; grandchildren, Brittany Armstrong (Seth) and Shane Leamer; and great-grandchildren, Avery, Scottie, and Holden Armstrong.
