Amy Jo (Williams) Holaday

Amy Jo Holaday, 70, of Charlestown, Indiana went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2021.  A memorial visitation, a casual gathering of family and friends will be held from 10-1 PM on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 8211 Stacy Road, Charlestown, Indiana, with a Celebration of her Life beginning at 1 PM. 

Amy was born on December 17, 1950 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late, John and Verna Williams.  She attended Middle Road Elementary School and graduated in 1968 from Jeffersonville High School.  Amy studied art at Indiana University Southeast and Spalding University, then earned her Bachelor of Arts in 1972 from Western Kentucky University.  She went on to earn her Master’s and Plus 30 in education.

In addition to being a dedicated mother and gifted artist, she and Mike loved to travel and collect antiques.  She always enjoyed having her fur babies with her.  Amy loved her friends dearly and wanted to thank them for all their love and support throughout the years.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband and love of her life of 49 years, Michael P. Holaday; two children, John P. Holaday (Juli); Sarah B. Bozman (Donnie); and two grandchildren, Jenoah and Payton.

In honor of Amy and the artist that she was, feel free to wear your favorite color to the service.
