Obituary
Ann Cody Barnicott, age 74, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born in Jeffersonville, IN on March 14, 1949 to the late Arthur Cody and Helen Graves Reichle.
Ann loved to cook, entertain for friends and family, and spend time with her grandkids as much as she could. She enjoyed bird watching, especially humming birds. She loved traveling and lunches with her friends. She liked music and was an avid Jimmy Buffett fan.
In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her sisters, Dale Turner and Martha Marchell; son-in-law, Chris Vaughan.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Vaughan (Steve Netherton) and son, Byron Grimes III; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Hill; grandchildren, Nicholas Grimes, Madelyn Grimes and Tyler Vaughan.
Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, on Thursday, September 21 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm (open casket until 1:00) with the funeral service at 2:00 in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Celebration of life will conclude the day at Captain's Quarters Riverside Grille 5700 Captain's Quarters Rd Prospect, KY 40059.
