Annabelle Gruver, age 89, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025. She was born in Corydon, Indiana, to the late John Francis and Celesta Frances Adam.
Annabelle will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family brought joy to all who knew her. She cherished time spent with her loved ones and leaves behind a legacy of compassion and strength.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Frank A Gruver; son, Michael Gruver; and four siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Deniece Lynn Johnson; her sisters, Clara Griffin and Frances Sprinkle; her grandchildren, Misty Lynn Fulton (Joshua), Nicholas Allen Gruver (Paige Athens), and Allison Gruver West (Chris); and her great-grandchildren, Cole, Logan, Michael, and Cohen.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway. A funeral service in honor of her life will be celebrated on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
