Antonio de Jesus Leon Juarez, 40, of New Albany, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 21, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering love for those who had the privilege of knowing him. Tony was a gentle soul who never met a stranger, always extending his warmth, generosity, and infectious smile to everyone he encountered.
Known for his impeccable sense of style, Tony was a clothing aficionado, who embraced fashion as an expression of his vibrant personality. But beyond his sharp exterior, it was his heart of gold that touched the lives of so many.
Tony worked diligently to overcome numerous adversities throughout his life, inspiring all who knew his story. His crowning achievement was becoming the proud owner of Lyons Renovations, where he not only built a successful business but also helped countless families create homes filled with love and memories.
He will be remembered most as a devoted husband, loving son, doting godfather, caring brother, and steadfast friend. Tony’s presence lit up every room he entered, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. His strength, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Valois De Leon; his parents, Antonio Leon Vargas and Ma. de Los Angeles Juarez Delgado; his siblings, Maria Cristina Leon (Mario), Jose Miguel Leon (Lourdes), M. del Carmen Leon (Raul), and Esmeralda de Jesus Leon (Fidel); five godchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who became family over the years. He also leaves behind his puppies, Zeus, Eros, and Oso. His memory will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to share in his remarkable journey.
Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, and again 10-11 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Christ Gospel Church, 2614 E 10th Street - Jeffersonville. Funeral services in honor of his life will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ Gospel, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
