Ashton Kai Crawford

Ashton Kai Crawford, the beloved son of Ruby Greene and Cameron Crawford, passed from this world too soon at 26 weeks gestation. Though his time with us was brief, Ashton’s presence left a lasting imprint on the hearts of his family.

Ashton was the cherished fifth child in the Crawford family, already deeply loved by his siblings, Alaska, Blair, Trey, and Grayson…who eagerly awaited his arrival. He was a reminder of life’s tender beauty and the depth of love that can exist even in the smallest moments.

He is survived by his loving parents, Ruby and Cameron; his brothers and sisters; maternal grandparents, Jackie and Billy Greene; and paternal grandparents, Karen Chaplin-Crawford and Teddy Crawford. Each of them held dreams for Ashton’s life and now hold memories of his short yet meaningful journey.

Family and friends are invited to honor Ashton Kai during a time of reflection and remembrance on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana.
