Barbara Graves Obituary

Barbara Graves entered eternal rest at her home in Jeffersonville, Indiana on Februay 18, 2026. She was born April 30, 1934 in Little York, Indiana to Sarah (Motzinger) and John Hall. She is survived by two children, Marsha (Roger) Emily, of Charlestown, IN and Edward (Linda) Morris of Ocean Springs, MS; three grandchildren, Meredith (Chris Howard) Woods, Kathryn Morris, and Steven (Heather) Morris, three step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeff Mosier) Emily, Joshua (Ashleigh) Emily, Jordan (Lauren) Emily; nine great grandchildren, Katarina (Dustin) Swain, Piper Jaeger, Rory Jaeger, Caroline Mosier, Harper Mosier, Spencer Emily, Ainsleigh Emily, and Archie Emily. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Lee (Tubby) Morris, and her husband of 5 weeks, Robert Nix. Also preceding her in death were sisters Gladys, Mary, Pauline, Elizabeth, Ruth, Neva and brothers Scott, Sloan, Edward and Levi. She leaves behind a sister, Audra Payne, and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara spent years working as a pharmacy tech, and was active in her church life until recent years. She was a hairdresser, a Girl Scout leader, loved to quilt, and crochet. Barbara loved to travel. She was a tireless caregiver to Lee as he progressed through Alzheimer’s, and was a strong, loyal and loving wife, mother, sister and friend.
