Barbara Rhodes

Barbara Rhodes, 72, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on September 26, 2021 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Homegoing Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM on Friday and after 9 AM on Saturday at Scott Funeral Home.

Barbara (BJ, Twink) Jeanette Rhodes was born on September 28, 1948

She was baptized at an early age she was a member of trinity Baptist Church where she went faithfully with her mom Minnie Johnson.

She attended Jeffersonville high school and was employed by Ford Motor Company and retired from Indiana ammunition plant.

She loved family gatherings, dancing, taking pictures and creating photo albums; she had a very kind, loving and forgiving heart and soul; her favorite lovable saying was "I believe I'm everyone's favorite aunt"

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Tommy “Katt Man” Rhodes Sr.; and parents, Minnie and Robert Johnson;

She is survived by her six children, DeLisa Rhodes-Jones (Lamont), Tommy Rhodes Jr., Glenn Rhodes, Candice Payton (Dwayne), LaShawna Rhodes, and Kendrick Rhodes (Abby); her siblings; eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great grand-children; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
