Barry Wynn Bundrant, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, in Jeffersonville,
Indiana. Born on May 5, 1942, to the late Charles Franklin Bundrant and Margaret Virginia Friar
Bundrant, Barry led a remarkable life filled with personal and professional achievements.
Barry attended the University of Tennessee on a basketball scholarship, showcasing his athletic
talent and determination. A retired businessman, his professional career began with Mason &
Dixon Truck Lines but his main love was his work at Independent Concrete Pipe where he
cultivated strong relationships with his coworkers and friends in the industry. He also served as
Chairman of the American Concrete Pipe Association, lending his expertise and leadership to the
industry. Barry was also a Tennessee Squire, a Kentucky Colonel, and a board member of Valley
Bank, reflecting his commitment to excellence in every endeavor.
A man of diverse interests, Barry enjoyed memberships at several esteemed golf clubs, including
South Bend Country Club, Hurstbourne Country Club, Gator Creek Golf Club, and Signal Point
Golf Club, where he cultivated lasting friendships.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Craig Bundrant. He is survived
by his beloved wife, Cheryl Ann Bundrant; his children, Scott Bundrant and Todd Bundrant
(Karyn); and stepchildren, Kim Spratt (Kevin), Brandy DeSpain, and Todd Plyler. He was a proud
grandfather to Beau, Brad, Taylor, Elizabeth, Ben, Christopher, Tyler, Kirk, Brooke, Kaylie, and Silas,
as well as a great-grandfather to several cherished great-grandchildren in addition to his brother
Edward.
In honor of Barry’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. His legacy of kindness, dedication,
and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1-4 p.m. May 31st at Upland Brewing Company, 707 W. Riverside Dr., Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130.
