Betsy Myers

Betsy Myers, 59, originally from New York but lived in Jeffersonville, IN passed away on February 2, 2023. She was born October 1, 1963 in Ponce, Puerto Rico daughter of Jose and Zelita Rodriguez.

Betsy attended business school and was employed at Corken Steel Products as an office manager since 1998. She had simple pleasures, enjoyed spending time with family, loved to travel and explore, loved to laugh and have fun, and had a love for animals and yard work. Betsy was private and reserved but known and loved by many. She would do anything for and was very proud of her son Christopher Dennis Myers. 

Betsy was preceded in death by her father, Jose; 2 angel children; and her niece, Shaunte. She is survived by her mother, Zelita; sister, Sarai Snyder Gumm (Gene); brothers, Jose Daniel (Martha) and Jose David (Debbie); son, Christopher and his father, Dennis Myers; her significant other, Jonathan Sisco; 14 nieces/nephews and 18 great nieces/nephews, and their children. 

Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, on Thursday, February 9 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Her funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
