Betty Sue Turner, age 84, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024. Betty was born on August 22, 1940, in Mayfield, Kentucky, to the late Wade Crowder and Nannie Sue Crowder.
Betty lived a full and vibrant life. She worked for American Airlines as a reservationist and later found joy in helping others look and feel their best while working at Estee Lauder. She was passionate about fitness and took pride in staying active and in shape. Betty also had a love for beauty and style, especially through doing makeup and hair.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Nancy Simon (Ed); her son, Strawn Nutter (Angela); and the father of her children, Larry Elisha Nutter, Sr.
Betty is survived by her son, Larry Elisha Nutter, Jr.; her daughter in law, Marcy Nutter; her 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and her cherished nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Riverbend Assisted Living Dementia Unit and Cedar Court for their compassionate care and unwavering love for Betty.
In accordance with Betty's wishes, cremation has been chosen, and no services are scheduled at this time.
Betty's family invites those who knew her to celebrate her memory in their own way. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
