Bobby G. Sneed, 77, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on February 3, 2026. Born on December 31, 1948, Bobby lived a life rooted in family, kindness, and simple joys shared with the people he loved most.
Bobby was a devoted family man in every sense of the word. Family truly meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent together—whether it was cookouts, yard games, bowling leagues, or especially Christmas, which held a special place in his heart. He loved family gatherings and never missed a chance to be surrounded by laughter, good food, and those he held dear.
He enjoyed playing and watching golf and bowling and took great pride in bowling leagues with his family. Known for his generous heart, Bobby would drop everything to help anyone at any time, never expecting anything in return. He also had a well-known sweet tooth and loved trying new desserts and treats, always ready to sample something new.
Bobby is survived by his children, Bobby Sneed Jr. and Chris Sneed (Stacey); his sisters, Margaret Vititow (Joe), Ruby Market, and Edna Doherty; his grandchildren, Justin Sneed (Miranda), Lindley Sneed, Amber Billings (Riley), and Brady Sneed; and his great-grandchildren, River, Bowen, Athen, and Lane.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Sneed; his parents, Lawrence and Amye Sneed; his siblings, Mildread Clark, Marzella Lochner, Helen Berk, Bernard Sneed, Louise Combs, Crecie Britt, Lawrence Sneed, Janet Thompson, Billy Sneed, Howard Sneed, and Jane Stopher.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
