Bonnie Mae Brown Antz, 83, of Jeffersonville, Indiana entered the gates of Heaven Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Born June 4, 1938 in English, Indiana, to Dorothy and Elmer Brown, she was the only daughter among four sons.
Bonnie had the biggest heart and spent her life serving others. She worked as a CNA for Providence Care Facility and later as a caregiver/companion for several elderly couples in Louisville. She was a member of Revelation Tabernacle Church in New Albany and ministered in their food pantry for several years. Her family was her pride and joy. She loved dogs, gardening, and the beach. Bonnie shared her beautiful smile and her love for Jesus with everyone she met. Her legacy of love, hard work, and faith will be honored and remembered by those that loved her most.
She is survived by two brothers, Howard and Donald; three daughters, Kathy Harrison, Karen Mitchell, and Sharon Hunt (Barry); five grandchildren, Brad Combs (Cara), Amanda Wilson (Dale), Ashley Woten (Josh), Niki Langford (Chris) and Amy Dixon (Anthony); twelve great-grandchildren, Keenan Wilson (Lisa), Ethan Combs (Ashley), Kyle Rider, Kimberly Combs, Jackson Woten, Alec Combs, Jenna Woten, Noah Combs, Liam Dixon, Owen Dixon, Ava Dixon, and Rickey Langford; four great-great grandchildren, Jayden Wilson, Xavier Wilson, Amiyah Wilson, and Mason Combs; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Brown; father, Elmer Brown; 2 brothers, Joe Brown, and Harold Brown; son-in-law, Larry Harrison; and eldest granddaughter, Jenni Combs Harrison.
There will be visitation on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home (2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130) from 11:30am – 12:30pm. Her funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 12:30pm. Burial will take place at Moore’s Ridge Cemetery in French Lick, Indiana.
