Bruce Shawn Seward Sr.

Funeral services for Bruce Shawn Seward Sr., 43, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 11-1 PM at the funeral home.  He passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his home. 

Shawn was born on June 13, 1977 in Louisville, Kentucky.  He loved taking his kids to spend time at Deam Lake and he enjoyed playing competitive softball with his friends.   

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Sue Curl.

Shawn is survived by his five children, Bruce Seward Jr. (Ashley Lopez); Grace Seward; Jacob Seward; Kaitlynn Lee; David Lee; his father, David Seward; two siblings, Amanda Rogers (John) and Kevin Yates (Brenda); three grandchildren, Isabella Seward, Jaxson Jewell, Marlee Jo Miller; nephew and best friend, Paul Raque; a special aunt, Charlotte Busam; and the mother to his children, Julie Peckham.
