Caroleen Marie Qualkinbush Hobson

Caroleen Marie Qualkinbush Hobson, 80, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, surrounded by her four loving children.  Caroleen was born and raised in French Lick, Indiana to the late Hubert “Hobby” Hobson and Audra Roberts Hobson Qualkinbush.  Caroleen was a world traveler and loved spending time in Florida. She loved being in the presence of her children, especially meeting for dinner.  She was a graduate of Indiana University and a retired bookkeeper from the NAFC School Corporation.  She enjoyed playing cards, golfing, listening to music and singing. She had a contagious smile and gave almost to a fault. 

In addition to her parents, Caroleen was preceded in death by her husband, Herb A. Hall; and granddaughter, Meghann Marie Sensinger.

Left to cherish her memory, Caroleen leaves behind children, Janna Jo Parks (Mark), Matthew Frederick Stone (Kimberly Ann), Dianne Idgie Stone and Craig Steven Stone (Teresa); siblings, Frank Hobson, Mary Jane Deel, Theodore “Ted” Qualkinbush, James Qualkinbush M.D., Jennifer Joy Qualkinbush and Jerry Roberts; grandchildren, Shelby “Wil” Woodrum, Cole Younger Woodrum, Logan Matthew Stone, Abigail Lynn Stone, Kelsey Lee Miller, Sylvie Lyn Miller, Ashley Marie Stone and Matthew Joseph Langdon; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Hobson will be held at 1 PM, on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veteran's Pkway in Jeffersonville, with burial at Ames Chapel Cemetery to follow.  Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday from 11-1 PM at the funeral home.

 Due to local health concerns from COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home. We ask that funeral patrons please take all precautions necessary if planning to attend.
