Carroll Dean (Harris) Twyman

Carroll Dean Twyman, 81, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, at her home in Henryville, Indiana. She was born on August 24, 1941, to the late Cecil and Veta Mae Harris in Parma, Missouri. Carroll was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, who would always defend her children. She was morally based, and loved to laugh and have a good time. Carroll was a vibrant, fun, strong-willed firecracker who loved Jesus and was always very ladylike. She was very sweet and loved everyone just as fully as she was loved. Carroll was dedicated and intelligent, graduating as a Registered Nurse at the age of 55. She was very creative, and in her spare time Carroll enjoyed sewing, crocheting, embroidering, and creating her favorite dishes. Carroll will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Cecil and Veta Mae Harris, Carroll is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Jerry Harris, and Veronica Foutch; grandparents, Robert and Katie Whittenberg; and 2 step-fathers, Johnnie Taylor, and Charles Williams.

Left to cherish her memory, Carroll leaves behind her loving husband of 26 years Ronnie Twyman; 3 children, Lewauna Reardon (Wayne), Michal Stephens, and Shandell Wiley (Jeremy); 9 grandchildren, Arianna Merewether (Chris), Casey Johnson (Judah), Claire Thomas, Timmy Chadwell, Maddie Wiley, Emi Chadwell, Bella Wiley, Solomon Wiley, and Ivory Stephens; 10 great grandchildren, Aurora, Stormy, Skyelin, Eli, Xander, Isaiah, Ezra, Castiel, Beau, and Holly Jane; and a host of extended family and close friends.

 A funeral service for Mrs. Carroll Twyman will be held at 6 PM, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
