Charles Paul Black, 71, passed away July 22, 2021.

Charlies was a life-long resident of Jeffersonville who graduated from Jeffersonville High School and spend two years at Purdue. He left Purdue to join the Air Force for the Vietnam War. Charlie retired from ResCare where he had been employed for over 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Edward Black and Norma Jean (Stallard) Black; and aunt, Barbara (Bobbie) Stallard Sparks.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia Gail (Dobson) Black; loving step-children, Eric Pratt, Leah Leonhardt (Kevin), and Joel Leonhardt; brother, Bill Black; nieces, Christina Black Furman (Sean); nephew, Jason Sparks (Cindi); grandson, Travis Manns (Leah); granddaughter, Jaela (Leah); grandson, Cody (Joel) and his fiancé, Bailey; and beloved Sugar Dog of 14 years.

A private service will be held from the family at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, IN.
