Charles Landon Grubbs, Sr, 84, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2020. He was born on July 12, 1936 to the late Edward and Lela Grubbs in Liberty, KY.
Charlie served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Kentucky Balfour after 25 years. Charlie and his wife Ruth Ann were then owners of C & R Furniture in Scottsburg, IN. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan and collected 1950’s Chevrolets.
He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 57 years Ruth Ann Grubbs; siblings Roberta Sharpe and Garth Grubbs; and daughter Mary Hambaugh.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Russell Grubbs (Dena), Pamela Muschalek (Frank), Tammy Cody (Steve), Charles “Chuck” Grubbs, Jr., and Jeri Bales (John); eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
