Charlotte Ann Cheshire, 65, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on September 1, 2025.
Born on March 21, 1960, in Greensburg, Indiana, Charlotte was the beloved daughter of Charles and Geneva Grant. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Charlotte dedicated much of her life to caring for others—both as a caregiver and as a loving homemaker.
Charlotte was a woman who deeply cherished her family. She found joy in the simple things—gathering with loved ones, singing and dancing, and exploring yard sales in search of hidden treasures. Her family lovingly referred to her as a “kleptomaniac of pretty things,” a playful nod to her eye for beauty and her knack for collecting the charming and unique.
She was a member of Westpoint Baptist Church, where her faith and generous spirit were evident to all who knew her. Charlotte’s warmth, laughter, and love will be remembered by everyone whose lives she touched.
Charlotte is survived by her two daughters, Julie Cummins(Jeremy), Carroll “Carrie” Leslie(Eric); sisters, Theresa Baxter , Ethel Lee; brother, Buddy Grant(Maria); granddaughter Marlee’aunna, grandson Andrew; favorite nephew, Scott Brennenstul; her faithful companion, Karla; Best friend Beverly Fisher; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
