With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Cheryl Lee Rogers, 78, who has found eternal peace in the arms of the Lord.
Affectionately known as “Cherry,” she lived a life defined by gentleness, compassion, and grace. Cherry dedicated herself to caring for others, serving in skilled nursing facilities and daycares, where her nurturing spirit touched countless lives. Her love for babies was especially profound, reflecting the tenderness of God’s care for His children.
A devoted daughter, loving sister, and treasured aunt, Cherry’s warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on her family. She was preceded in death by her father, William W. Rogers; her mother, Violet Lee Rogers; and her sister, Nancy K. Canter. She is survived by her brothers, Bill Rogers (Sue) and Chuck Rogers (Ann), as well as many beloved nieces and nephews who were the light of her life. She shared an especially close bond with Beth Valentine and Chip Canter, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Cherry was a faithful member of Park Place United Methodist Church and later Springdale United Methodist Church, where her spirit of devotion shone brightly.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Riverview Village, where Cherry was a resident, for their compassionate care and support.
Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her.
A graveside service to celebrate her beautiful life will be held at Walnut Ridge Cemetery on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are warmly invited to join in honoring the grace and love she so generously shared.
