Christina Eleanor Myers, age 75, of Utica, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, following a long illness.
Chris was a proud graduate of Jeffersonville High School and Ivy Tech, where she was honored as the Valedictorian of her graduating class. She devoted 38 years of her professional career to Mercer HR Consulting in Louisville, where she served as a Compensation Analyst. Her career was marked by dedication, integrity, work ethic and loyalty.
Affectionately known as “Chris” to all who knew her, Chris was an avid Indiana University fan and greatly enjoyed her Sunday BINGO games at the Knights of Columbus. She was deeply loved and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, quiet strength and devotion to her family.
Chris is survived by her beloved son, Brad Myers; her grandson, Josh of Ohio; and her granddaughter, Kierstynn of Florida.
She is also survived by her two sisters, Missy Davis Elrod of Jeffersonville and Elizabeth Davis Yienger (Bob) of Bronxville, New York. She was a loving aunt and great-aunt to Courtney Nevitt and her children, Xander and Kaliyah Langdon; great-aunt to Caydence Johnson; Brooklyn and Aleigha Todd; and aunt to Grace and John Yienger.
Additional survivors include her sister-in-law, Annie Myers; brother-in-law, Mike Myers, Sr.; and nephew, Mike Myers, Jr. (Vicky Haire).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Myers; her son, Brian Myers; her mother, Juanita Davis; and her niece, Jennifer Nevitt.
Cremation was chosen, with Chris’ final resting place at Utica Hillcrest Cemetery, where she will rest beside her beloved husband, Larry, and son, Brian. A private family graveside service will be held.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Baptist Health Floyd, Hospice of Southern Indiana, and Westminster Village of Kentuckiana for the exceptional end of life care, kindness, and support.
