Cindy Lee Holley

Cindy Lee Holley, 67, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on May 7, 2023. 

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.  The funeral service will be livestream at https://www.facebook.com/scottfuneralhome.

Cindy was born on January 4, 1956 in Danville, IL, graduated from Crawfordsville High School and received her Master’s from Indiana University Southeast.  She loved attending and volunteering for the University of Louisville Sports and was a women’s basketball season ticket holder.  She was a teacher for many years with Greater Clark County Schools and was currently at Scott County School Districts.  Over the years she was an active member of Sigma Kappa Sorority, Girl Scouts, Eastern Star, and Sing Out Montgomery county. 

Cindy was a loving mother and nana and loved to spend as much time as possible with her grandchildren creating memories.  If she could live anywhere in the world, she would have lived on the beach while reading a good book. 

She is preceded in death by her father, John William Stoker; mother, Shirley Stoker; grandmother, Beulah Kindell; grandfather, Hurschell Kindell, MD; and her beloved dog, Valentino.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Gay (Jason), Sarah Edrington (John) and Susan Colston (Travis); grandchildren, Sophia Kirkman, Parker Gay, Adeline Edrington, Jacqueline Edrington, Quentin Colston, Raymond Colston and Evelyn Edrington; brother, John Stoker (Cindy); former spouse, Stephen Holley; faithful companions, Isabella and Gorgonzola; and countless other family members and friends.
