Cindy Jones

Cindy was born June 26th, 1962, died on October 18th, 2023.

Born in Hutchinson, Kansas to her mother, Joyce Waddle and father, Dale Waddle. She married her husband, Troy Jones on May 6th 2000. Then she gave birth to her son, Jarod Jones on May 4th 2001.

During her lifetime Cindy showed the world what a woman could do for herself, and what she could give to others. As an amazing friend, daughter, wife, and mother. Cindy sacrificed everything she could to fulfill her life and others.

When entering a room people would turn their heads and smile. Her presence, words, and actions made everyone around her shine as bright as she did. She is truly a special person to everyone she meets.

Cindy attended Silver Creek High School, graduating in 1980. She then continued her education at Ivy Tech Sellersburg earning her Associates degree. Earning her first job at Aetna working as the head claims representative for 17 years. After her first job she then went to work at A&R transport as a dispatcher. Then went to work for amazon fulfillment services until her retirement in September 2023.

Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway on Tuesday, October 24th from 2:00pm to 6:30pm, with her funeral service beginning at 6:30pm. Burial will be a private event for close family members.
