Clarence Philpott, 73, of Clarksville, IN, and longtime resident of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on December 31, 2024.
Clarence worked for many years in the Portland neighborhood for Silver Foods in Louisville, KY. Before becoming disabled, Clarence had a love for old cars and had many over the years. He loved his children and enjoyed Sundays going to lunch, shopping at the peddler mall or just having visits at home. The bright light in his life was having Ellie, Ensley and Karen living with him, they always made him smile and helped with anything he needed. His favorite pastime was watching Westerns.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Donna; his brother, Stephen; his sisters, Claudine and Theresa; his parents, Marie and Charles; and his great grand-daughter, Memphis.
He is survived by his children, Belinda (Daryl), Tina (Squeak), Tammy (Jimmie), Chris (Susan), Samantheia (Blaine), Michelle (Carl), Karen (Austin); 15 grandkids; 8 great grandkids; and his siblings, Deborah, Michael (Rema), Gary and Mary.
