Colsen Michael-Lynn Wampler

Infant Colsen Michael-Lynn Wampler was carried into this world through the arms of angels on August 13, 2025. The beloved son of Julia Rose Lentz and Corgan Scott Wampler, Colsen was cherished from the very beginning, his life a precious gift of love. Though he never took a breath on this earth, his spirit will forever breathe life into the hearts of those who longed for him. We find comfort in knowing that Heaven shines brighter because of his presence.

Colsen’s memory will be treasured by his parents, Julia & Corgan, his grandparents: Russell & Tracy Meredith Lentz, and Angela & Scott Wampler; aunt, Riley (Cameron) Miller; uncle, Isaac Lentz; great-grandparents: Jay & Teresa Wampler, Anna Shackelford, Richard & Rebecca Lentz, Bill & Debbie Meredith, Mike & Glenda Hughes, and Joan Herman; along with many cousins, aunts, and uncles who will carry his light in their hearts. This sweet baby boy was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Debbie Hughes, great-grandfather, Michael Shackelford, and Great-Great-Grandparents, Bettie & Gerald Meredith.

Funeral services honoring Colsen will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veteran’s Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. Burial will follow in Hibernia Church Cemetery, Charlestown. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.

Though his time was brief, Colsen’s life was filled with love—a love that will never fade.
