Cora Marie (Russell) White

Cora Marie White, "Tessie", 83, passed away, Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Ten hours after her beloved sister, Roberta Lindsey. 

Cora was born April 21, 1939 in Springfield, TN to the late Ewing and Thelma (Kendrick) Russell. She was a former seamstress for David's Bridal in Macon, Georgia and also worked for Chase Studio in New Albany developing photo's for many years; she was a faithful member of Newburg Apostolic Church. 

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph G. White; grandchild, Christa Aminah White; one brother; three sisters.; and a nephew.  

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Nolan G. White, Sr. (Tabitha), Corey L. White (Carlette), and Troy E. White (Erika); four grandchildren, Nolan White, Jr. (Ashley), Juhanna Ashely Nixon (Arlo), Christian White and Caitlin White; four great grandchildren; one sister, Garnetta Harris; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

A joint funeral for Cora and her sister Roberta Lindsey will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022, 5:00 p.m. at Newburg Apostolic Church, 4817 Indian Trail, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. There will be no public visitation and burial will be private in Walnut Ridge Cemetery on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
