Coy Tarrence

Coy Tarrence, age 93, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 with his family surrounding him.

Coy was a lifelong member of Faith Chapel General Baptist Church in Louisville and was retired from Plumbers Supply Company, also in Louisville. His lifelong hobby was watching and playing baseball. His lifelong passion was his family. He was loved by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Tarrence; daughter, Joyce Willis; his grandson, Matthew Robertson; and three brothers.

Coy is survived by his children, Pauline (Joe) Jecker, Jimmy (Vickey) Tarrence, Wanda (Robert) Slight; two sisters; one brother; seven grandkids; 22 great-grandkids; seven great-great-grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, on Thursday, September 19 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with his funeral service at 12:00 in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
