Cynthia Fetter Obituary

Cynthia Ann Fetter, born December 18, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on June 29, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. She went peacefully with her family by her side probably dreaming of Bingo jackpots and bargain yard sale finds.

Cynthia was a long-time cashier at the Cracker Barrel in Sellersburg, and she always greeted everyone with a beautiful smile and a warm laugh.   She was loved by her coworkers, her customers and will be missed by all.

She was the queen of the three B’s: Bingo, Bunco, and Beaches—preferably all in the same week. Cruises and casinos were her happy places, and she never met a yard sale she didn’t conquer. Birds chirped a little sweeter for her, especially her own beloved feathered friends, who likely now rule the roost in her honor.

Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Claudia Sanders (James) and Michelle Rottet (Patrick) , her pride and joy, whom she lovingly called, “Her Boy”, Andrew Fetter (Melissa), and “Her Man” Maurice “Hots” Hoskinson

She also leaves her amazing grandchildren, Bradley Neal (Courtney), Meghan Neal, Morgan Neal, Maisie Rose (Donnie), Tyler Rottet (Ramey), great-grandchildren Karson, Merrick, Ezra, Presley, Holland, Paisley, Derby, Milo, and Maverick, her brother, Tom Sears (Kathy), and a large loving extended family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. “Buddy” Fetter, and her parents Clarence and Anna Mary Sears.

In classic Cynthia fashion, she requested cremation and no formal services—probably to save money and keep things casual, just the way she liked it. So raise a glass (or a Bingo Dauber) in her honor and remember: life’s too short not to hit the buffet before the game starts.

Rest in peace, Cynthia. May the yard sales be endless, the casinos always comp your drinks, and the Bingo numbers always go your way.
