Cynthia Lynn (Kee) Moorer

Cynthia Lynn Moorer, age 69, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the University of Louisville Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 1, 1955, in McKenzie, Tennessee, Cynthia was a cherished daughter, devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother.

Cynthia had a radiant spirit and a heart full of love. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, creating a tapestry of memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who knew her. Despite facing health challenges that limited her ability to venture out in recent years, her love and warmth never wavered. She found joy in the simplest things—a shared laugh, a family gathering, and the laughter of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Conrad Moorer; her caring mother, Betty Kee; her son, Todd Moorer (Kim); her daughter, Valerie Bates (Randy); her siblings, Janice Ross (Pat) and Barry Kee (Patsy); and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and five beautiful grandchildren: Genevieve, Cora, and Lottie Moorer, and Alden and Keelynn Bates. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Kee, and her treasured grandparents, Will and Agnes Choate, and Will and Lonie Kee.

Cynthia’s life was a testament to love and resilience, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville. Burial will take place in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
