Dale John Finn, 49 of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away at home, on May 21, 2023, after a cardiac arrest.
Dale was born on August 24, 1973, to Hugh Finn & Julie Dixon in Kingston, Ontario Canada.
After Dale graduated from Tofield High School in 1991, he went on to study at Red Deer College. Dale went on to build a career in providing health & wellness services to corporations in Florida, and throughout the United States. Which led him to find his most recent home here in Indiana.
Dale has found a passion in the service of others. He has taken on many volunteer roles, and participated in many men’s groups, and overall, with the church and communities that he resided in. Even starting his recent business, ‘Redemption & Grace Handyman Services’.
Dale was excited about his special relationship with Cory Patton over the past 2 years. Dale found peace and enjoyment spending time outdoors with Cory, and their horses.
Dale’s love for his precious dogs could not go unmentioned, Gunner, Max & Tobias were a light in his life. Dale and former spouse [Glen Evelyn] had shared the dogs together, and though their relationship wasn’t permanent, the dogs kept them in touch, and will now reside with Glen.
He is survived by his parents; Hugh Finn (Shelley) and Julie Dixon. His siblings; Carrie LeClaire (Mike), Connie Finn-Hobbs (Brian), Laura Schumaker (Tate) and step siblings; Ryan Weisner, Blaine Weisner (Layne). Nieces & Nephews; Taylor LeClaire, Carter Hobbs, Paige Hobbs, Kennedy Hobbs, Noah Schumaker, Parker Schumaker, Cashton Weisner, Geordan Weisner, Gracie Weisner & Boe Weisner.
A local celebration will be held at Southeast Christian Church at the Chapel in the Woods on Monday, May 29. Visitation is from 5-6 pm. Celebration at 6 pm. Location of the service is 1407 Moser Road, Louisville Ky 40299.
A celebration in Alberta, Canada, Dale’s hometown will be planned for the coming weeks.
