Daryl Patrick George

Daryl Patrick George, (39), of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025.

Daryl was born to Wayne and Marilyn George on April 14, 1986 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He graduated from Jefferson Community and Technical College and pursued a successful career in Physical Therapy for nineteen years.

While Daryl left us far too soon, the impact he had on his patients, friends and family will be felt for years to come.  He never met a stranger.  Daryl was always striking up a conversation with those around him leaving them smiling, laughing and feeling loved.

Daryl was a standout on the baseball field in high school and an avid sports fan.  If the Louisville Cardinals were playing then he was definitely watching.  He enjoyed a competitive round of golf as well as fishing with his dad Wayne.  Recently Daryl celebrated his fifteenth wedding anniversary with his wife Megan. 

Daryl’s loving spirit is carried on by Megan; His parents, Wayne and Marilyn; His sister Melissa Jobe and her husband Michael; children Ethan and Lucas; His sister Erin Naeger and her husband Dylan; children Kolten and Ayden; His brother David George and his wife Abby; children Lauren, Jacob and Austin; His sister Stephanie Adkins and her husband Wayne; children Sophia, Alissa, Sierra, Tyler and Jordan; His brother Scott George and his wife Tammie; children Rebecca, Mackenzie, Brityn and Connor.

To honor Daryl’s memory, a visitation service will be held at Scott Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, Indiana on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness – Indiana, a 501(c)(3) public charity in Daryl’s memory.  https://www.namiindiana.org/home
