David Lee Willis, Sr., 66, entered Eternal Life Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Dave was born in Louisville to the late William H. and Glenna Willis. He was a member of the Little People of America – Kentucky Chapter, Little Colonels, Bluegrass Classic Bowling League, and was Catholic by faith.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dennis Willis, Lee Cole, and Billy Parrish.
Survivors include his husband and partner of 19 years, Tim Griffin; children, Wadena Gilkey (Donnie) of Bardstown, KY, David Willis, Jr. (Julie) of Mt. Washington, KY, and Heather Willis (Ember) of Bedford, KY; grandchildren, Trey Thompson, Grace Willis, Lorali Willis, and Danielle Gilkey; brothers, John Willis of Clarksville, IN and William H Willis, Jr. (Fran) of Louisville, KY; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway – Jeffersonville. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the funeral home, with a Celebration of Life and private burial of ashes to occur at a later date.
In the spirit of Dave, the family asks guests to dress casually and enjoy the company of others as he would have wished.
