David “Red” Worrall, age 60, died unexpectedly while campaigning for the office
of Clarksville Town Council At-Large on Tuesday, November 7, in Clarksville,
Indiana.
David was born October 1, 1963 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to David and Wanda
Worrall. He lived in Clarksville, Indiana, his entire life and was an owner of
Worrall’s Automotive and Machine Shop in his hometown. David served his
community as a former Town Council Member, District 3, and was a dedicated
supporter of the Clarksville Community with a special emphasis on community-
run programs that help children who need food, clothing, and/or school supplies.
He was a tireless supporter of “Shop with a Cop”. David was also a Volunteer
Clarksville Reserve Police Officer for 10 years. Assisting Clarksville’s finest was an honor and a privilege for him. His goal in life and politics was to see his town grow and prosper.
David was preceded in death in death by his father, David Worrall Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda Worrall; two siblings, Dean Worrall (Suzanna), Deana “Sis” Worrall (Bill); two nephews, Collin Worrall (Kelci), Will Sarpas; a niece, Heidi Sarpas; and his uncle and aunt, Harold and Sharon Satterly.
Visitation for David “Red” Worrall will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 1-8 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Walnut Ridge Mausoleum. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held on Saturday at 1 PM at Eastside Christian Church, 2319 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, all guests are welcome to attend.
The family of David Worrall has set up the “David ‘Red’ Worrall” Foundation to
continue Red’s giving spirit to the community of Clarksville.
