Deanna Sokacz Obituary

Deanna Sokacz, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on January 6, 2022 after battling pancreatic cancer. The family has entrusted Scott Funeral Home with her care and has chosen cremation. There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled at a later date.

Deanna was born to Michael Sokacz and Donna Thompson-Reed on November 6, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky and was raised alongside three siblings. She later went on to have two children of her own.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Terri Sokacz. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Christa Sokacz and Sean Sokacz; her grandchildren, Kiel Carter Jr., Trey Sokacz, and Brandon Melvin; her two brothers, Michael Sokacz Jr. and Joshua (Ami) Reed; her significant other, Rob Browning, as well as other family members and friends who will all miss her very much.
