Deborah "Debbie" Linton, age 64, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
Debbie was born in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late August and Rose Marie Valdez Hackert. She was a woman of remarkable creativity and heart, known for her ability to transform the simple and ordinary into something truly elegant and beautiful. Whether through her exquisite handmade jewelry or her love of arts and crafts, Debbie poured her passion into everything she touched. These hobbies were more than pastimes—they were acts of love, often shared with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaving behind cherished memories and keepsakes that will be treasured forever.
Above all else, Debbie will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. "Grandma Debbie" held a special place in the lives of her family, offering warmth, wisdom, and an open heart to each of them.
She is survived by her children, Michael Linton (Lindsay), Brian Linton, Jacob Linton (Linda), Rachael Wayland (Robert), and Bobbie Linton (Kwane); grandchildren, Thaylia, Hope, Bailey, Parker, Hannah, Kade, Alexis, Kai, Charlotte, Macayla, Eason, and Christina; and great-grandchildren, Anastasia, Kaydon, Ella, and Ryder. Debbie also leaves behind her loving siblings, Kenny, Eddie, Rosemary, Diane, and Eugenia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation was chosen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana.
