Delores Mae “D.D.” (Mulinex) Davis, age 93, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and gentle grace that will never be forgotten. The daughter of the late Everett Carl and Roxie (Fordyce) Mulinex, D.D. carried a servant’s heart from an early age, dedicating much of her life to caring for others. Her hands brought comfort, her presence brought peace, and her compassion touched countless lives. D.D. had a way of making everyone feel at home. With her sweet smile and warm, welcoming spirit, she embraced family, friends, and even strangers with open arms. To know her was to feel loved—to feel seen, valued, and truly cared for.
She found great joy in the simple, meaningful things in life. D.D. loved arts and crafts, creating beautiful treasures by hand—each stitch sewn with love, each piece thoughtfully crafted and often accompanied by a quiet prayer. Her creativity shined brightly in the delicate floral arrangements she made over the years, including the heartfelt decorations she lovingly created for her grandchildren’s weddings—gifts of beauty that carried her love into some of life’s most special moments. For many years, she was the owner of several craft shops in Ohio, designing beautiful, heartfelt arrangements for churches and weddings, bringing joy, beauty, and grace to life’s most meaningful celebrations. She also opened D’s Flower Shoppe, D’s Delicate Creations and The Gift Gazebo. She loved designing elegant bows and stunning wedding décor, adding charm, sophistication, and beauty to every celebration.
Her kitchen was the heart of her home, a place where warmth extended far beyond the oven. D.D. was an incredible cook, always ready with sweet treats and comforting meals that brought her family together. Laughter and stories were shared around her table, where everyone knew they were always welcome. She also cherished time spent playing board games, cards, and working on puzzles—simple joys made special by the company she kept and the love she gave so freely.
D.D. was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence A. Davis; her daughter, Marilyn Craft; son-in-law, Jerry Craft, her brothers: Delbert, Bernard, and Ronald; and her sisters, Anita Ruth and Jean. Though her heart carried the weight of these losses, her love for her family remained steadfast and enduring.
D.D. leaves behind a beautiful legacy in those who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted daughter, Maureen Ramirez; her grandchildren, Aaron Mezger (Kathryn), Jason Mezger (Dara), Levi Ramirez (Nataisha), Nathan Ramirez (Angel), and Rozalind Segoviano (Juan); and her treasured great-grandchildren, John, Izzy, Kaiden, Maddie, Mikayla, Quintin, Tia, Tevin, LJ, Omahr, Max, Leo, and Jasmine; great-great grand-daughters, Malaesia & Kyiah. She is also lovingly remembered & missed by her faithful companion, her sweet doggie, Penny Mae, who never left her side.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia, 26101. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Though D.D. may no longer walk beside us, her love lives on—in every handmade gift, every shared meal, every laugh around the table, and every memory held close. Her life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
