Diane Carolyne (Rahm) Nattrass

Diane Carolyne (Rahm) Nattrass, 80 years old, died peacefully on September 11, 2025 at Hosparus Health Hospital with family at her side. Diane was born in Queens, NY, on August 25, 1945. She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Carolyne and William Rahm, and her brother, Steven.

Diane is survived by her brother, William Rahm, Jr., and his wife Rebecca; her brother, Gary Rahm and Suzanne Szupiany; her children: Rob Nattrass and his wife Charlie, Steven Nattrass and his wife Kelly. She adored many incredible and loving nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved grandchildren: Christopher, Thomas, Emma, Emery, Cole, and Ansley Nattrass. 

Diane graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 1967. After graduation, Diane's love for literature led to her career as a high school teacher. She also worked at The Hartford, Sylvan Learning Center, and retired as a docent for The Mark Twain House & Museum. 

She was active socially in books clubs, bridge clubs and Asylum Hill Congregational Church.  At Asylum Hill, she was active in the Tuesday Prayer Group where she treasured the friendships she found in these groups. In her spare time, she knit Prayer Shawls to donate to churches. She traveled with her friends to many beautiful locations, especially to the beach and places where her grown children lived.

The family will honor Diane's life privately, and no public services are planned. Diane's family kindly asks that no flowers be purchased for the family, and that any contributions in Diane's memory be made to Asylum Hill Congregational Church. Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, IN is in care of the arrangements.
