Donna C. Barrett, 76, entered Eternal Life Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
Donna was born in Pewee Valley, Kentucky to the late Charles and Joyce Corby. She was known by many to be a woman of faith, participating in a weekly Bible study at Park Memorial Methodist Church, and serving her church home, Ohio Falls Methodist Church. She was a member of the Pretty Girls Bunco Club and a regular attendee of the Derby Dinner Playhouse. She retired from Bell South after many faithful years of service as a Telephone Operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Barrett; brothers, Bruce Corby and Peyton Corby.
Survivors include her sons, Jay Barrett (Teri) and Kevin Barrett; sisters, Paula Corby, Mary Lynn Corby, Alice Willis, and Beth Hutton; sister-in-law, Dorsey Corby; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway – Jeffersonville. Funeral Services will be celebrated 1 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023, with entombment immediately to follow.
