Dr. Gordon B. Crawford

Funeral services for Dr. Gordon B. Crawford, 73, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday prior to the service from 10-2 PM at the funeral home.  He passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 surrounded by his family.  Due to the pandemic and limited number of friends and family allowed, the service can be viewed online at 2 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020.  To view, please click here.

Gordon attended Western Kentucky University from 1965 to 1968, and received his doctorate from the University of Louisville Dental School in 1972.  Gordon served in the United States Navy from 1972 to 1974.  He started practicing dentistry in Jeffersonville in 1974, and continued that work until 2008.  He finished his career as a CNI contractor in Ft. Knox, KY from 2008 until his retirement in 2013.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and was an active member of the Men’s Spiritual Group.  He was the biggest fan of his children and grandchildren through their educational and athletic endeavors.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Genevieve Crawford.    

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judy; three children, Jeff (Jennifer), Heather (Harry) Perissi, and Chris (Jill); and eight loving grandchildren, Adam, Olivia, Ryan, Abigail, Emily, Charlie, Emerson, and Ty, all of Jeffersonville.  He is also survived by his brother, Pat Crawford of Lubbock, TX; and his sister, Greta Bramer (Rodney) of Jeffersonville.
